Reece Tomlinson’s Lunch and Learn
April 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

"When the sale of a business fails it’s usually for psychological and emotional reasons, not financial ones.” - Reece Tomlinson.
We are hosting a lunch and learn workshop on Monday, April 27th at 12:00 noon about the preparation involved in selling a farm or business.
Our mergers and acquisitions consultant, Reece Tomlinson, Founder and CEO of RWT Capital, takes pride in the fact that her firm focuses on a more holistic approach to buying and selling farms and businesses.
The workshop will be held in our Toronto head office boardroom at 150 King Street West, Suite 1710, Toronto, ON M5H 1J9. The workshop will also be available online if you are unable to visit in person.
“The sale of a business means the seller is losing a part of their identity and control. Business owners have spent a lifetime building and managing their business so to sell has a huge emotional impact on their lives and daily routine”, she says.
Reece urges business owners to ask themselves the real reason they’re selling. Is it just financial? Or is it to spend more time with their families and travelling? Or is the ill-health of a family member driving the sale? The answers to these questions can have a real impact on the selling process and its outcome.
