Loraine Craig

Administrative Assistant, Niagara-on-the-lake Office

Loraine Craig joined Caldwell Securities Ltd in 2009 as Assistant to James P Caldwell and R Richard Felton.

Prior to joining Caldwell Securities Ltd. Loraine worked for the local government in Scotland for 17 years.

In 2001 she graduated with a Scottish Certificate in Financial Planning and Mortgage Advice and began her investment career working for a large 

Retail Bank, where she worked for 5 years.

She emigrated to Canada in 2006 with her husband when they bought and operated a Bed & Breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Loraine is registered as an Investment Representative with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (“IIROC”).

Her responsibilities in the Niagara-on-the-Lake office include client relations as first point of contact for all clients by telephone and in person, all administrative procedures, trading on behalf of investment advisors, accounting and office management.

Loraine’s regular working days are Monday – Thursday but she is also available on Fridays if this is more convenient for clients to meet.

Loraine and her husband David have 2 West Highland Terriers called 

Hamish and Flora and are part of Niagara On The Lake Westies’ Club where they meet with other West Highland Terriers and their owners to walk together on a monthly basis in various locations throughout Niagara.

In her spare time she likes to entertain friends at her home and is part of 

Niagara On The Lake Safari Supper Club where members host a themed dinner party once per month in their homes and pair the meal with wine from various local wine clubs.

Some of Loraine’s hobbies in summer months include playing pickle ball, going for motorcycle rides with her husband David and visiting the farmer’s market and evening supper market in NOTL.

She likes to travel on her vacation leave and enjoys visiting new destinations and would love to travel throughout Asia in the next few years. Some of the destinations she has travelled to throughout the years include the Maldive Islands, Europe, Caribbean and extensively in the UK and Canada.
