Robert M. Callander

Robert M. Callander joined Caldwell Securities Ltd. in 1992 as an Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager.
His investment style focuses on large cap blue chip investment grade equities and Government of Canada and Province of Ontario bonds. Over many years he has found that this investment style to be well suited for conservative investors.
Mr. Callander is an investment industry executive with over forty years of experience. He specializes in providing personal investment advice to high net worth individuals and families. He has a diversified background in the investment industry having held progressively senior positions in investment research with two major national investment dealers. During this time, Mr. Callander successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams to become a CFA charterholder.
He was also engaged in the corporate finance area with a major investment dealer and was involved in providing financial advisory services to major corporations. His primary contributions were in the area of mergers, acquisitions, valuations and fairness opinions. His background in investment research and corporate finance, combined with a CFA charter, provides valuable knowledge and experience which he brings to professional money management.
Mr. Callander is the Chair and Director of Member Savings Credit Union, a Toronto based credit union.
In the past, Mr. Callander has appeared regularly on CP24, BNN and CBC where he provided insight and analysis on the top business news of the day from an investment perspective.
Mr. Callander received a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Waterloo and an M.B.A., with emphasis in finance, from York University. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Toronto CFA Society, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.
